Effective date: 28 May 2026 Version: 1.0
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") sets out what is allowed and what is forbidden when using MeJu. It complements the Terms of Service. A breach of this AUP is a breach of the Terms and may lead to suspension or termination.
1. Your responsibility for what you upload
You are responsible for the files, statements, transaction records and any other content you upload to your workspace. By uploading, you confirm that:
- you have the right to use the data;
- the data does not infringe third-party rights;
- the data does not violate any applicable law.
When you import a bank statement (PDF or CSV), the original file is parsed in memory and discarded. Only the structured records are stored.
2. Prohibited uses
You may not use the Service to:
- record, conceal or layer the proceeds of crime, structure transactions to evade reporting thresholds, or otherwise launder money;
- evade taxes, falsify accounting records, or build artefacts designed to mislead tax, accounting or audit authorities;
- commit fraud against third parties (including investors, banks, employers, family members or any counterparty);
- finance terrorism, sanctioned persons or entities under EU, UN, US OFAC, UK HMT or Brazilian sanctions lists;
- upload personal data of third parties without a valid legal basis;
- upload malware, viruses or any code intended to disrupt systems;
- upload illegal content or content that infringes the rights of others (including intellectual property and privacy rights);
- attempt to bypass authentication, row-level security or any other security mechanism;
- access data of other users or workspaces you are not authorised for;
- scrape, harvest or extract data from the Service except for your own workspace;
- abuse the API or any Service endpoint (unreasonable request volume, automation outside documented limits, circumventing rate limits);
- resell, sublicense or share access to the Service with third parties outside the workspaces you own;
- use the Service to score, profile or take adverse decisions about third parties (credit scoring, employment screening, denial of service);
- send spam, phishing or unsolicited bulk messages from any address related to the Service;
- attempt to reverse engineer the Service, except where applicable law expressly allows it;
- run automated benchmarks or stress tests without written permission;
- attempt to manipulate, jailbreak or otherwise abuse the AI features to obtain output that violates law, these Terms or this AUP.
3. Family and shared workspaces
When you share a workspace with another user (couple or family workspace), each person sees the financial data in that workspace. Make sure every co-user has agreed to share that data with you before granting access. The workspace owner is responsible for managing membership and revoking access when appropriate.
4. Reporting a violation
If you believe someone is using the Service in breach of this AUP, write to support@wizzcomms.com with details. We investigate every report and act when justified.
5. Enforcement
We may, at our discretion:
- remove content that violates this AUP;
- suspend the offending account during investigation;
- terminate the account in case of serious or repeated violations;
- notify competent authorities when required by law.
We will give reasonable notice when possible, except where immediate action is necessary to protect users or the Service.
